Went to small one in Aransas Pass. Normally a small show, but most of the big vendors were in San Antonio today. A few lowers for $250, $45 mags. $1500 AKs, $2500 ARs and $500 SKSs. Looked like a lot of people are using this as a chance to sell crap. One guy walking around with a MAGPUL'd SKS, I believe he wanted $750 for it. Dealer looked at it and said "I thought it was an SKS, maybe I would be interested if it didn't have all the crap on it" and guy looked really hurt. |

The real question OP: did you see the stuff selling at those prices? People can ask $10k for a DPMS.

Yeah some of it was moving, saw people filling out forms at some of the same tables those prices came from. I don't know what they bought but they were buying something. I wouldn't say things were flying off the tables though. |

Dang I went to the same one! Drove around a bit looking for parking, saw the line, and my fiancee said Hell No! So I didn't see the crazy prices, but thanks for the info. I just wanted to sell a couple of mags... Guess i will hold on to them for now.

I went to one in Utah today. More of the same shit. Everything ammo or ar related was double the usual price. Glad I'm already stocked up and was there for other stuff.
|
|
Quoted: I sure hope this stupid shit doesn't last for long. Fuck. Around here things seems to have tempered a bit. There are quite a few ARs on the gun trader board in the $1500 range. Last week they would been gone. |

Dude I love those cinnamon nut vendors. The smell.... I know! I was gonna get some on the way out but the place was too crowded and I just wanted to bail. My wife isn't happy that I didn't bring her any. |

Do some people actually fucking think a gun show is the only place to buy shit?
I'm not referring to the people in this thread that go for laughs. |

I'm pretty sure that at least half of gun show attendees have no clue what an interweb is. They probably still struggle with using the Shotgun News. |

I want to know how many in those lines voted for O or did not vote at all. I am getting annoyed by some folks wanting to buy guns now that I know supported the left during the election.

I go sometimes (pretty rarely actually) but theres no fucking way I'd go in this climate. If the prices didn't make my head explode the hordes of dummies would |

I went to the same show. I saw a mini 14 for $1000. A scar had a price of $4200. I picked up a magpul trigger guard. The beef jerky guy seemed to be price gouging.
There was a guy with an awesome sig collection. 210's for sale and even a korth revolver. |

How many strollers and people with horrible body odor did you come across?

Lubbock,Texas today, it was a madhouse, been going for years and never saw a line like that. .223 was selling by the shitloads at $1 a round, Pmags were $70 and not selling. Guy had a bunch that were sold for $55 each. AR's were crazy, $1500 to $4000. Not many AK rifles seen there.People were buying handguns out the ass, glocks, sigs. Lots of .22 interest, oh yeah, .308 ammo was $3 a pop. Are people scared or just crazy?

Was at a Gun show today in Roanoke VA. got there at 7:30 am was about 25th in line, show opened at 9:00. After completing my purchases (BCG and some magpul stuff)
walked around till about 10:15.. when I left there was still 200+ people in line trying to get in. |
|
I was thinking of going to walmart and buying up some ammo and then trying to sell it at a show for profit.

A KISS rifle should be sub 1000 Negative, but last week $2000 basic rifles were selling. Now even $1500 isn't even selling. Things are coming back a little into normal, though I doubt we will see cheap ARs for a long, long time. |

Arkansas gunshow today:
Arrived at 9a, stood in line til 935. Line was stil sev hundred deep when I left at 1230p. As expected, ammo, mags, and AR's were way up. Not as many AK's as expected. Saw a PAP pistol for 1k Saw a FN 5.7 pistol for 2800.00 Pmags for 60, although most GI mags were 30.00 Saw a person buy 160rds of Remington .223 for 130.00. Sev vendors had brass cased 5.56 at 497.00 for 500rds... Picked up a 3 new glock mags for 35.00 each. Not a great price but I needed them. Deal of the day (that I saw), was a "As New" gen 3 Glock 21 with box, accessories, 2x13rd mags and 1x 27rd mag for 450.00. That was his asking price as he only paid 300.00 for it. Wishing I could have jumped all over that one... No bad smells, didn't see any beef jerky, some "trinkets". Overall, a good day and well worth the 8.00. Heck, the people watching is always worth it... |

At some point this becomes our fault. If these tards would stop buying shit, it will go down in price eventually. I saw a guy at Buds today PAY FOR an M92 PAP AK pistol for $1300. THERE WAS ONE IN STOCK AT ANOTHER LOCAL GUN STORE FOR $800 (which is still too high), but this guy apparently saw one and had to have it right then and there.

Quoted: Birch run gun show in Mich. Wait time est. 1.5 hours to get in. Prices are at full retard. I was there. Line to get in looked just like the pics OP posted, snaking around the building. Average asking price for an AR (non-Colt) was about $1800. Colt price tags were from $2500 - $3000. AK pattern rifles average price tag $1500. PMags $40 - $50 I bought one AK mag and a pistol cleaning kit and got out of there. |

How was the stroller situation?? Quite a few actually, which seems like a particularly poor decision given the massive crowd. |

I did. Sold my dicks troy ar for 1850 with no fuss. Also sold a backpack full of Pmags i got from dsg at 3/100 and some $3 thermolds for $10. Traded a $50 stripped lower straight up for an xd45 with 3 mags.

I was in line for the Franklin TN gun show this afternoon. I called a buddy and asked if he was there, but he had come and gone and was on his way to the Dickson TN show. He said that the Franklin show had a small number of vendors, a lot of knives, no vendors on the upper level, and it just outright sucked. With that, I stepped out of line and went to visit my parents. In return for taking their Christmas tree down and hauling it to the recycling place, my mother gave me cookies and coffee....
...Because I'm a good boy. |

Instead of going to the local gun show today, I went to a small local shop that caters to survivalists.
This place must be pretty unknown, as they still had cases and cases of ammo sitting out on the floor at pre-panic prices; one of which followed me home No entrance fee, no baby strollers, and no ghetto rats. |

The Lima Ohio show was packed, first time I've ever seen a line like that here. Prices were odd with $1200 Armalites laying on the table and a dealer buying up all the carry in AR15s he could find under $1500. He had a nice stack of rifles going. Cheapest I found USGI mags were $20 and Pmags were typically $30 and up. Ammo was very high. |

went to the Longview TX show today, was selling alum AR mags out of my trunk for an hour then waited 45 minutes to get inside and what a circus in there. One table only had non windowed PMags on it for $40 a pop and an older couple were selling the heck out of them, RRA lowers started at $650 on one table and went up to $800 depending on configuration.6920's running 2200-2400 & up. Ammo venders were sweating, working so hard. Big magazine vendor had no AR mags at all and only a few Korean Glock mags. Only saw one AK drum in the whole place, it was $300 (75rd ChiCom). One guy was selling Win bulk packs of .22LR for $30 and they were flying out the door. Lots of bubbas with AR's wanting ridiculous prices . I bought a T shirt, a woodland pattern FLC vest ,some jerky ,and left with over $2K more in my pockets than I went in with.

Quoted: Basic surplus 308 for $1.00/rd. Consistently. Heck, I've got a LGS with $150 marked on their 140rd BP of SA 7.62x51. And that was before this current craziness. I asked if they wanted to buy any of my BPs and was met with stern glares. |
|
News said last night that one day attendance for the local show was 20k and it usually draws 17k for the weekend. Link. I didn't go, I'll be doing all my transactions outside the shows.
