Sorry if a dupe, but it seems like the heat is really coming on. From Bud's Facebook page:
Another one bites the dust ! You may notice the GE Capital no-interest finance option has been removed from the website at the request of GE. This does not affect customers with existing GE Capital transactions, but unfortunately we cannot process any new finance transactions until further notice. Sorry folks....not our call. |
Their prerogative I guess. They probably don't want the risk of a GE Capital financed gun making it into the news given the current hysteria.
They're the ones behind the Wal-Mart Discover card I used to get an AR with no interest or fees for a year, I wonder if they'll do something so people can't do that at Wal-Mart anymore?
This is a tactic from the left.they are going avter the finances of the gun industry. Reason Cerberus sold out.
Might be related to the sudden uptick in sales and how much financing now out there now because of the rush. Or may be because they are Government Electric.

Wow. I started a thread HERE last night asking if anyone on this site works at Buds because I was curious to know why GE Capital wasn't being accepted. I just opened a card with them through Buds last weekend and used it to buy a Colt 6920 and G19. I was waiting for them to fix the site so I could order a G26. So much for that now

Fuck ge capital, if you have any financing through them read the fine print.
They reserve the right to change your payment interval, interest rate, and minimum payment at anytime. And they will, and when your autopay goes through for the old amount they will say you violated the payment plan for the interest free financing, and demand all the retroactive interest on the next payment. |

well there goes my next Buy, that was the only reason I was buying from buds. It sure wasn't there speedy shipping that got me buying from them. Oh well at least I got my 1911 and 338 lapua

I have bought several guns from Buds and at one time there was a notice on the web site that you could not use the GE option to buy "black guns." Their words. That was probably a year ago when I picked up my AR-10 carbine.

GE's has always prohibited the purchase of "assault weapons" using their financing on Bud's website. I was however able to purchase a PAP M92 with 6mo no interest from them during black friday weekend.
