Why would they ask otherwise? They're the media - they don't need permission (in their minds).

I think they just f-ed up.

It will be selective enforcement.

Liberals are above the laws they draft and support. Look at Eric Holder, still walking free as a bird.
Link Posted: 12/24/2012 11:42:11 AM EST
It'll get bumped up to the Police Chief, since it involves a member of the media, who will ask the Mayor what to do, who will ask Eleanor Holmes Norton what to do (she's the non-voting DC representative of the House), who will ask her master Mr Obama what he wants done about it. Being as the TV reporter sends his kids to the same school as the President does, and is in the same social circles, it's a fair bet IMHO that this will be quashed pronto. Nothing will come of it - after all the elitists are NOT subject to the same laws as we the peons.

We'll all wail and gnash our teeth, and the game of some animals are more equal than others will continue on it's merry way.

Refer to the top of the page, where I wrote:

This is black and white, open and shut.

He's guilty. Busted right on TV.

The only remaining issue is if LE will do the right thing, or the political thing.

LE exists to enforce laws, failing to enforce this "in your face" violation will make LE inept or complicit. Which is it?

Even if it's a bullshit "looking in to it", that's still pretty awesome and even more damning if they were actually DENIED (not that they should have had any special privilege anyway).

The idea that he had a separate 10 round mag lends credence to it actually being a 30round mag IMO, plus if the honest journalist said it was a 30 round limit, why would I not believe him?

he's actively using the death of children to campaign for the loss of the 2nd amendment for all Americans, which will surely lead to the loss of all other rights.

This question was asked pages ago. Here is my response...

The suspect appears to have broken the law. He should be arrested, charged, and can defend himself in court just like any one of us would have to. It should also cost him thousands in legal fees, his job, and possibly his family just as it would us.

If the magazine had a round limiting device installed, they can bring it to court, with proof of purchase before the airing. It's a great defense and brings honesty to the conversation. Mainly that there are gun control laws currently in place.

What if he held up a bag of oregano and said it was marijuana, or a mason jar filled with vodka and called it white lightning?

I'm sure it was a 30 rounder......but what we know and what we can prove in court are two different things.
