For everyone worried about the NRA, or old-school collecting only guys selling out black rifles, start showing people pictures of classic looking AR's: http://www.turnbullmfg.com/client_images/catalog19872/pages/images/rifles/ar_cc-web.jpg I just had a conversation with a collector (think Winchesters and Trapdoors) where I realized that emotionally, he only likes guns that are steel and wood, not aluminum and plastic. So I showed him the Trumbull rifle, and it definitely changed his thinking. I'd like to think that AR's are a platform that everyone in shooting can find something they like about. neat |
