What are the publicly traded firearms companies? Is there a firearms index fund? Buy low, sell high, right?

Cerebrus/Freedom Arms I thought is a private company, but I see some pension funds look to be divesting the company.

Cerebrus and Colt are not publicly traded.

Ruger seems to be a great buy in the low 40's...

I agree. They were a bit extended at 60.. but at 40 they're a steal.
