I certainly respect how fast and good he was with a pistol.
But, He did not seem like a fun guy to hang out with. He seemed to have a very high opinion of himself that i would find off putting. Tactless of me to speak ill of the recently departed. |

He was really good at tuning single action revolvers and he was one heck of a pistol shot and had a very fast draw.
Now he is with the other great gunmen... Skeeter Skelton, Jeff Cooper, Elmer Keith.. more names then I want remember.

I met Bob Munden in 1988 and again in 1991. Spent a couple of hours BSing with him the second time I met him. I found him to be a very pleasant guy and fun to talk to. He had some real good jokes and he shared a bunch with me over a soda. The first time I met him, he did seem to be somewhat stand offish. I watched more than one punk want to slap leather against him for real. I think that's why he was the way he was. He'll be missed for sure. RIP Bob. Give Jerry Ahern my best when you see him.
