These threads piss me off.
However, a lot of these deals aren't so great when you factor in inflation.

With plugged barrels, If it was before 1986, I do believe you could get them back into business as long as you got a stamp for them.

Turn of the Century ad.  The Sweetest Girl in Iowa will send you a gun.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page in this Link

I found out she sent you seeds which you sold.  After returning the proceeds, she sent you a 22 LR.

i would like those prices now.  back then they were expensive guns.   1950's households made about $55.00 - $60.00 a week.  in the 1920's it was about $25.00 a week.

That Iver Johnson Semi auto for $59 would probably be a pricey item these days.

I've only seen one in the stores ever, and it was a Full auto transferrable.

Despite being semi-auto, and probably made after the war, I'm sure alot of WW2 buffs would find it an interesting rarity to have in their WW2 collection.

It's a carbine version of the Gyrojet pistol. I have never seen the carbine, but I remember seeing the pistol in a gun store in the mid sixties. They used to pop up in gun shows from time to time during the seventies, but ammo has always been hard to find and expensive.

Gyrojet pistol:
