Tourettes is a vocal disorder, not a typing related problem.  Who says?  Fingers do. Screw you . Screw me , Fuck you fingers. Insanity is in every molecule of of your body. Shut up, asshole.

I was standing in line in a post office when I kept hearing a puppy bark. I looked around, expecting to see a little dog at my feet. Turns out it was a girl behind me who occasionally let out a "yip!" Strange experience.

I had a student once that had audible sounds, barks, yips, grunts.

I have mild ADD, so, trying to lecture, while also trying to ignore the noises was rough.

It was not bad when she was engaged in conversation, but, when she tried to sit calmly, for tests and lectures, it was non-stop.

I'd say 95% of tourettes patients manifest their symptoms in involuntary movements or tics.  Very few actually have the obscene vocal outbursts (coprolalia).  And even the folks that do, the outbursts are normally managed by the use of various therapies

Not a doc but work in a neurology clinic that has a great deal of Tourette patients.

(That is a W.A.G. as far as the actual percentages go no facts to back it up)

My daughter has it mildly.

Nothing vocal just a few repetitive motions that she does.

You almost have to be watching for it.  It comes and goes.
