For me;
2005 F25o 4x4 w/V10 - 29 gallons @ 11mpg = 319
2008 KLR650 6.6 gallons @ 50mpg = 300
1994 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 ltr manual 20 gallons @ 16.5 = 230
2005 Yamaha FJR1300, 6.5 gallons @ 43mpg = 279
So how about you? How far can you make it before it runs dry?

My Rodeo(15 gal tank) will take me about 300 miles on the highway.

My Versa (10 gal tank) takes me about 350.

94 Silverado with the 5.7 will be pushing it at 340-350 at highway speeds in cruise/overdrive. City driving is right at 300. 25 gallon tank.

Nissan frontier. Varies WIDELY depending on if in town or highway. 2x4, 4 banger, standard cab, auto.

15 gals, highway ~ 350-400.

In town ~ 275.

I'm not sure what my discovery gets anymore, as I don't really drive it anywhere of substance.
Link Posted: 5/23/2012 2:39:42 PM EST
All highway and good weather?

I get 40.8 mpg on my 2010 Honda Civic on all highway trips in the summer.

538 miles per tank at 13.2 gallons.

My 2010 Camaro can get into the 350-400 mile range on highway but in town its more like 280-300. My 2005 Xterra gets about 250 miles in the city, maybe 300 to 350 on highway. They both tend to have about 16.5 gal at a fillup (when it hits the 'low fuel' indicator).

2009 Kia Spectra SX 5 speed manual. Lately been getting a little over 34 mpg highway so...

14 gallon tank at 34 mpg is about 476 miles

Personally, I don't like taking the tank that low but I have seen low 400's so far when I am going back and forth to the lake a lot.

Over 505 miles... I'm scared to find out the exact distance. 2006 Mazda 6 2.3L 4-cyl. That's mostly highway, but with some some city driving mixed in.

2001 S10. I can get maybe 350 out of a full tank if conditions are right. If I get less than 300 miles to a tank, I start looking for something wrong with it.

Not sure. I've never tested it by running it out of gas
Back and forth to work in mixed traffic I can get about 23 to 23.5 mpg. Freeway gets 29 to 31 mpg. The book says it has a 16 gallon tank, so if i got 25 mpg I guess I could go 400 miles before I had to start pushing it.
The most I have ever put in the tank is 13.6 gallons, and the trip computer said I was about 13 miles past empty

Approx 320 miles per tank. Downside is a fill is approx $50 or so up here

12 gal = ~320 miles
Link Posted: 5/23/2012 2:54:55 PM EST
Depends. If I keep it under a certain speed, the eco drive kicks in and my mpg skyrockets, but avg 21 mpg at 18 gallons. 378 miles by that math, reality: I can put in 16 gallons when the low fuel light comes on, 320 or so miles into the tank. But I put on a new exhaust last week, and my car is known for being sensitive to exhausts, it tends to go up almost 10% with the right one. I'll fill it up tonight and find out.

My rig at one job gets 2.9 mpg and holds 35 gallons iirc.

My rig at my other job goes about 1100 miles to 190 gallons.

Highway, supposedly 647.5 miles.

2012 Kia Optima rated at 35mpg highway. I average around 28 mpg mixed highway/city using Eco mode. Really slows down the responsiveness of the engine, but the fuel savings is worth it. I cruise the highway at 70 at just under 2k RPM.

I tend to get right around 550km on a full tank in my 2005 corolla

14.5 gallon tank x my personal best fuel consumption (41mpg) = 595 miles.

That includes some city driving so I could break 600 miles/tank on a good road trip.

You might want to redo the math on your Jeep.

230 is about my range when the light comes on, but it's still got 5-6 gallons at that point. At 16.5, you can push 330, though I have NEVER gone past 300. (even when stock... bigger tires don't do as well)

My car can get up to about 450 before I really start to worry.

My Ram 1500 with 4.7 does pretty well with AC off and my foot not pushed to the floor.

I sure miss my '93 and '95 F150's with dual tanks and straight 6 motor I don't remember exactly how far I could go but I know me and the wife would have to stop for bathroom breaks a couple of times before I needed fuel.

But sold it
