I shoot on my own property and still always keep a gun on me.

They updated the story and it looks like he was ambushed leaving the range.  Shot multiple times in the head, but lived and called his family.




The Wagoner County Sheriff says it appears Payne was leaving Toppers Gun range and walking back to his truck when someone shot him multiple times in the head.
