Well. We both took care of business, so now we can turn our attention to what we've been looking forward to all year. I don't care about rankings of past #1 vs. #2 games. This game matches two of the best, most evenly matched teams ever. It's gonna be a long 2 weeks for us Tide and Tiger fans.

Yep, they are very much alike. The LSU postgame announcers were wondering what it would be like to play your twin. That's basically what it's going to be.

I agree, I love grown man football, and we will definitely get that in a couple weeks. Should be a helluva game, and I will be on about the 10 yard line.

Isn't the college football season over now ? I thought those guys take something like 3 months off and then rejuvinate for like the 12 days of Christmas. They even play on Boxing Day and New Years Eve and day.

Maybe they really need all that time off for school and visiting families and such, or do they really have 2 seasons in a year ?

well they have the regular season, take some time off and then around the middle of December the bowl season starts

Regular season starts at the beginning of September and usually ends in the beginning of December. Bowl Season starts in the middle of December and ends in early January.

Thank you for the answer. We rarely see American college football here, but when we do, it's always during the Christmas season, on every channel.

And thank you also. I find that your university football is much more entertaining to watch than professional, when we get to see it here.

Our CFL season ends around your Thanksgiving, but there is a huge NFL following that picks up steam in December, but those games seem so predictable
. There does not seem to be many 'underdogs' in the NFL.

I'm assuming LSU will reinstate the dopers for the Bama game

Hopefully Miles can keep his players in line for the next 2 weeks so we can see both squads with all their best players.

IMO LSU definitely has the most talent, but Bama is more disciplined. Should be a great game. I don't see any other team out there that can match up with either of these two right now.
