So.... what am I looking at? A K-Var stocked stamped receiver AK? |
|
Looks almost like an Arsenal UR series Krink that is converted.
At least that is what it looks like to me. |
|
Presumably airsoft, but that's okay.
Little freakier was him waving around a loaded crossbow. I watched the pilot, and bleh. I miss Roseanne and the other older sitcoms that respected their characters. |
|
Just finished the first episode on the DVR.. I thought it was hilarious.
Highlights: -Making fun of Obamacare -Bacon -Making fun of effeminate men -Guns -Pork sausage Watching the 2nd episode now... Will keep this on the DVR for sure |
|
2nd episode so far:
-Making fun of non-English speaking people -Pie |
|
Its an AKS-74U too dark to tell much else but the profile is unmistakable.

show is full of win I like Tim Allen, the show seems to be pretty good, may be a winner. The only thing I don't like is the use of a laugh track. I hate it when a sitcom uses laugh tracks, either film it before a live audience, or not, just don't use a fucking laugh track. I'm not so lame that I can not tell the difference between the two. |
|
Did Tim Allen ever get his legal right to own a gun restored?
|
|
I couldn't get through the first 10 minutes. A clueless man in a house full of women... It will devolve into making men look like impotent idiots. Just wait and see.
|
|
I'd like to see a show where the reanimated corpses of Tim Allen and Ray Romano fight each other to the death every week.
Fuck those guys. For years they made mint playing pussywhipped, stupid assholes who existed only to show what wonderful human beings their wives were. |

Did Tim Allen ever get his legal right to own a gun restored? On October 2, 1978, Allen was arrested in the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport for possession of over 650 grams (1.4 lb) of cocaine. He subsequently pleaded guilty to drug trafficking charges, and provided the names of other dealers in exchange for a sentence of three to seven years rather than a possible life imprisonment. He was paroled on June 12, 1981 after serving 2 years and 4 months in a Federal Correctional Institution, Sandstone in Sandstone, Minnesota.[14][15][16] Allen had the Federal Bureau of Prisons Register # 04276-040.[17] I never knew that about him. |

I agree. It's insulting to use laugh tracks. And the one they used was really poor quality to boot. My wife and I watched and enjoyed the first 2 eps. Had some chuckles, we'll be back. |

So far I really like it. He's not as apologetic for being a man in this one either. He's growing in his relationships with his family, while still being an outdoorsy old fashioned kind of guy.

This is why I believe some of the stipulations on who can carry and who can't is BS. If the law deems you good enough to be in society, then you should be able to carry. If the law deems you unable to carry well.......then I just don't think you belong in the society. |

That seems to be the "successful" formula for sitcoms for the last 20+ years. The lead male is either a helpless sports worshiping neanderthal that doesn't have the sense to take care of himself or he's a pussified Nancy that's constantly in fear of his wife/spouse/SO. In either case he has to make amends to her at the end of the show for some stereotypical foolish fau paux that he committed. Partial list of shows that list men as emasculated, inept fools. Home Improvement with girls instead of boys.
What's the over/under on how many episodes before the wife has a alcohol induced blackout as the theme of the show? |

Before he sold his soul to DisneyCorp, some of his stand up was pretty edgy and raw. But I'd sell out for that paycheck, too. |

They make special "firearms" for actors that have felonies. The "guns" are typically molded plastic with fire controls that electrically ignite blank charges or propane. The BATF does not consider these items guns and they aren't federally serialized or controlled. ISS(1/2 way down the page) makes these guns for tv and movies Here's a 1911. |

So it's a show about a manly man, doing something stupid while being a manly man, he hurts the feelings of or otherwise pisses of his woman, and has to apologize to her at the end of the day in order to get home cooked food and nookie.
Sounds like life to me. |

I was pleasantly surprised it wasn't another one of those "stupid white male" shows. |

I wonder if anyone on Arfcom knows enough people that are connected to get a shirt or hat with a bolt face logo on the show. Any of the characters would do, but of course Tim would be better.
I bet he would if he knew about it. |

Guns - Very good portrayal - The best one was the wife's ignint comment that the toddler could shoot hisself with a Revolutionary War musket. He explains the idiocy with that in detail then says, "safety? This whole gun is a safety!" Funny as hell show. |
