Here's a sequence of events to consider.

1)  Donald Trump sends a team of investigators to Hawaii and Trump hammers at Zero about his birth certificate.
2)  The Ben Bernanke opens his out and people worry about the dollar.  Gold shoots up $30 in one day.
3)  NATO bombs a Khadaffi compound, killing one of his sons and his grandchildren.  Waging war by killing kids has little appeal to the public.
4)  Presidential ratings are down.
5)  Birth Certificate issued.  Ha ha touts Zero as he beotch slaps a humiliated Trump.
6)  Numerous people prove the birth certificate is photo-shopped.  Amateur hour continues at the Whine House.  Major gaffe.
7)  Dead dude Osama Bin Laden hauled out of freezer and re-killed.  No photos showing body and the body is buried at sea.  Story changes a lot.  First there was a gunfight, then there wasn't.  Osama used a wife as a gunshield, then he didn't.  Osama was diabetic and there's no photos of the hospital quality dialysis machine either.  It's bovine fecal matter which the public gobbles up.
8)  Public goes apesh*t.  We got him!  We got him!  Zero's ratings soar.
9)  People forget about economy and forged birth certificate.
10)  Something happens with Lindsay Lohan or Tiger Woods or some Hollywood actor/actress.  Business as normal.  Economy still sucks.  Zero is still a Kenyan and the Federal Reserve issues QE-2 with precious metals increasing in value to reflect the declining dollar.

The strategy of the left was to attack every single aspect of Bush for 8+ years, including fabricating evidence against him.  I believe the technical term is "Throw enough shit against the side of a barn and some of it is going to stick". People were told every minute of the day via the MSM and pop culture that Bush was an asshole. This strategy worked brilliantly as by 2008, even so-called conservatives hated him and 90% couldn't articulate a solid reason besides sputtering "Fuck Bush!!".

If the Clinton's couldn't dig up enough on him to keep him out of the 2008 POTUS primary, then it either doesn't exist or it's so nebulous that using it makes you look worse than Obama.

I don't understand any of this stuff, but what I do understand is that someone smart enough to create a forgery would know enough to rescan the final product.  But they didn't do that.  Why not?

No one has proven anything about Obama's birth certificate or about a certified copy of Obama's birth certificate.
Numerous people have found unusual properties in a pdf file which was presumably created by scanning the certified copy.

Why is it so hard for some people to understand that a pdf file is NOT the document?
