If you can blame him for yesterday you have to give him credit for today. In fact if you go back to the crash in 2008 which started coming to the fore in 2007 and earlier which was not under his watch and which contributed to the March 2009 crash you have to give him credit for the markets recovery from the 6500 level on the DOW from that time. Plus if you bought back then you would be up some 50-100% or more so the past few days would have meant nothing as hopefully you would have already pulled your principal out and was leaving some or all of your profit on the table and putting that principal to work in other areas.
But people would rather .itch and moan. |

Fine, he kept his mouth shut today, and the bargain-shoppers came out. |
|
He shut his fucking mouth today and stayed off TV.
Yeah, that was a good choice. |
|
Did he stay off tv today? I'm traveling so I haven't been around a tv
|
|
Musta been playing golf today. Can't ruin the economy till he's finished with the back 9

Still have a few hundred points to make up, no atta boy! How well did this post go over at DU?

You do understand that there's more at stake than the stock market, right? Take a look at what's happening to the dollar today and what will happen to senior citizens' savings if they don't invest all of it to protect it from inflation, and then get back to us about how Obama saved the day today.

How much do you charge for your market timing newsletter, oh omniscient one? |

But people would rather .itch and moan. That's absolutely absurd and probably the most illogical thing I've seen today. The debacle yesterday was exacerbated by Obama's parroting the same nonsense he always spouts: Spend us out of debt. The market reacted accordingly and appropriately. That the market today climbed back out of the trough Dumbass talked the markets into yesterday has NOTHING to do with Obama, and everything to do with the markets themselves, people shopping for a bargain, and faith in free enterprise. Obama and his rampant spending have done NOTHING but contribute to the instability in the markets. His policies are discouraging to business and discourage investment in American prosperity. Please do tell us, however, just exactly what Obama did that caused the market to rebound today....except for displaying a complete LACK of leadership and competency, he's done exactly nothing, and gets credit for the same. |

I'm sorry ma'am, no disrespect intended, but...
...we're supposed to give zero some kind of "attaboy"? |
|
His handlers told him to STFU, and cancel everything - FOR THE ECONOMY.

The bounce today had NOTHING to do with obungo, it was inspite of him and his policies.
I also do not believe we have seen the bottom. |

Today he says nothing, and the market recovers substantially. Hmmm...... |

It is without question that the so called "tea party" hacks are actively trying to damage our economy simply so they can delight in saying "neener neener neeener" to the American people. President Obama narrowly brought us back from the brink of disaster today.
Essentially the president deserves and "atta boy" as you say for saving us from what could have been the disaster of our generation and the tea party clowns should burn in hell for their role in what could have been. EDIT: I SHOULD HAVE DONE THIS YESTERDAY>>>>>>>>>>>>>SARCASM<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< |

Don't worry OP. Owebama is having shoulder surgery due to all the self pats on the back.
