i'm not the OP, but I have the Rush 24. it's a great pack, and it replaced a maxpedition condor II.

it has plenty of interior space for a day trip or even overnight. there is a lot of organization on the outside which is great for small stuff like phones, cameras, GPS, compass. I added two 6x10 pouches on the sides, one for a first aid kit (mostly boo-boo stuff and a pre-packaged blowout kit in a pelican case), the other for my utility kit (pelican case with batteries, some tools, fire starting materials, etc)

even with the hydration bladder, rain gear, change of clothes, etc. in the main pouch, and the two 6x10s on there, I can still fit two nalgene bottles in the side zipper compartments which makes the dogs happy.

overall i'm pleased with the 5.11 stuff. even the messenger style laptop bag is great and i use it for work. i'm the kind of person that for daily carry or short day trips, i want enough small pockets, dividers, pen holders, etc to keep all my little gear organized. I don't like 24 hour and less packs that are just one big compartment and a small outside compartment. things tend to get scratched, tangled, or lost. both the Rush 24 and the Rush Delivery keep the little stuff where i need it, but have enough room for bigger items.

i think i might pick up one of their small MOAB bags for geocaching, fishing, and photography. very well designed.

Me too. Have a few very used one you can have.

I have a Rush 72 and love it. It has shit loads of zippered mesh organizers inside so I don't lose stuff. I have been thinking about getting a TAD gear EDC bag but really there is nothing wrong with the bag I already have.

I have been wondering about name tapes also. Good thread.
