View Quote Someone at work printed off that pic and framed it in a 8 1/2 x 11" frame. Since we get a lot of new desk warriors with a week on/week off cross shift, we put it on the new guys desk and tell him it is his cross shift's family. Of course, the cross shift would take it very personally if that pic was ever moved..... I put it behind the desk phone on the General Foreman's desk right before the General Manager held a meeting with several guys outside our work circle in the GF's office. What does the poor GF do, other than to ignore the pic as best he could while several others in on the joke try their damndest not to crack up laughing. |

A few photos of my Fathers time in Korea. He was there for 7 out of the 10 campaigns. The USS Valley Forge at Inchon High Tide at the port; Low Tide; Starbucks My Father was the Port Pilot for Inchon during the War. He landed with the 1st Marine Div and captured the port to get it operational. He was doing all of this as a Sgt. There were no Officers at the time. In his Commendation it mentions that he should have been given a Battlefield Commission. Ed |
