Captain Needa

He knew his goose was cooked, not necessarily through his fault, but he went forward and did the proper, honorable thing.

Cool pic of Dengar...they should have done more with him too, and made 6 films in the original series.

Who was the guy in the Tales of the Bounty Hunters book who had the cybernetic modifications? He was pretty cool too. Can't remember his name.
Dengar and his ship was the' Punishing One'....

That's "haute"

Admiral Giel did too in the SW comic book...it saved his life but got him busted down to 'Leftenant'.

A lot of those characters had cool back stories that were only somewhat explored in book form. I wish they had made more in the "original series" as well.

I would have to say that the best Star Wars character is Boba Fett. Seriously. What a badass. What do y'all think?

Vader comes in a close second for me, Han Solo third.

Are you going by the movies? Or is it an inverse Screen-time-to-coolness ratio? Or a stupidest death calculation?

If it's movies only, I will only posit that you must think standing around and firing somewhere in the neighborhood of six shots total over the course of two movies and hitting nothing is the ultimate in coolness.

RUN ON SENTENCES! COWER BEFORE THEM!!!

I know what you mean. At a certain point it was just like "meh". I like the Warhammer 40K universe a lot too. That could make some interesting films, if decent writers and directors were attached to them.

Most definitely. Again, a lot of that comes down to the writers/director and the amount of freedom/budget the studio gives them.

I heard. Like I said, decent writers and directors. It's a cool universe, but it's underutilized.
