I find her attractive... but to know that she's an atheist, AND she isn't even intellectually honest about it.... makes me loose much interest in her. She claims to be an "Atheist Christian" apparently...

In other words, she's an Atheist Conservative, who placates her conservative base by "playing Christian" from time to time. Atheists and Christians alike should both find this extremely distasteful...

She admits that she wishes she could find faith because those around her who have faith have hope and she's envious.

Even the military has realized that members who have faith fare better in lots of ways and are seeking to understand it better. There was an article recently about this and PTSD.

Christianity has done a lot for western culture as far as gentrifying our forebears. Throwing that away is like a liberal's wish to throw away a load bearing wall without testing how much of our social fabric it is holding up.

Some agnostics recognize this and would advocate for obscurantism where they just keep their opinions to themselves and not begrudge the faithful and just feel happy for someone to feel hope and eternal purpose.

Makes sense.
