I thought 'Centurion' was pretty good.
I have never seen a director consistently do more with less than Neil Marshall. |

Started 'The Glades' the other day.
I used to catch an episode every now and then when it was on TV, but never stuck with it. I'm liking it now that I can watch it in order. |

And I swear the writers changed about season 2-1/2. Went from tits, ass, and shooting bad guys to girls crying with each other and lame sayings worthy of David Caruso in CSI: Miami. ---------------- I watch Blood Money last night...........Avoid it unless you want to watch a bad movie. I checked the last few pages and never saw this mentioned: "The Replacement Killers" Good shoot'em up starring; Chow Yun Fat with his dual-Beretta-spinny Hong Kong moves, Mira Sorvino - sexxxy like a chocolate strawberry and one of my favorite VERY pro-2A actors, Michael Rooker. I met him on a couple of occasions wondering around at SHOT show...really nice guy and has had a hell of a run in Hollyweird, in spite of being an outspoken 2A man. LOTS of gun pron, a pretty decent story that moves along at a good clip. Definitely lots of questionable gun handling...to be expected from a Hong Kong shoot'em up. Still a good watch and a pretty good soundtrack for those of us who lived through (and enjoyed) the 'techo' music craze. Let me know what you think ArfCom. Keep The High Ground, G |

Dayumn! Arnel is unbelieveable and kills it. an amazing 'rags to riches' / 'living the dream' story. Any fan of Journey, as I am since back in the day, will find this a great documentary/music video to watch. |

I'm a tremendous fan of Mads Mikkelson because of "Hannibal" on NBC so I'm now searching for films of his.
Today I saw "Valhalla rising" which was utter drivel & crap, but not on any fault of his. Plot was non-existent & the ending made no sense. Now I'm on "Flame & Citron" about Danish resisters in WW2 & it is stellar. |

I remember when I lost my mind. But it wasn't because I didn't know enough. I just knew too much....
I'm taking comfort in the fact that Jesus wasn't liked when he was alive either. |

I thought the pilot was great and the next few episodes were good. However, each episode after that got worse and worse to the point where I called it quits after the first season. I might pick it back up at some point if I get bored enough and am out of stuff to watch. |

Not sure if it was recently added, or I just didn't notice it before, but they have a bunch of Mythbusters episodes. Not new, but I love that show.

Out of the Furnace is worth a watch.
Christian Bale, Woody Harrelson, Casey Affleck and Willem DeFoe A bit slow moving at times, but I thought the acting and gritty feel were well done. |

Don't know if Luther has been mentioned yet. It's a BBC cop show, and if it's not as good as Sherlock it's really close.

Not quite a movie, but a German for-TV movie.

If you mean are there better shows out there: yes. I enjoyed Dexter, but I don't think the overall series can even compare to shows like Breaking Bad, Rome, Deadwood, Game of Thrones, etc. The first 4 seasons of Dexter were great. The last 4 seasons of Dexter were average (maybe above average). That makes for a good, but not great, show, IMHO. |

I finally watched "Goodbye World", a post-apoc movie where people all gather at a self-sufficient house in northern California after major disruptions in power and goods movement cause societal breakdown.
TWO THUMBS WAY DOWN. No guns. Was more like "Dysfunctional friend relationships in the setting of post-apoc". No nudity despite all the talk of sex and naked hot tubbing. |

WTF is up with this bullshit anti-bayo lug crap. Was there a group of irrate japanese guys bonzai charging disabled school children and puppies that I wasn't aware of?
