Bacon. I hate it. Some slices of a pig's belly fried in its own fat is appealing and tasty? Smells terrible and if I had to guess what giving Wilford Brimley a rim job would taste like, I would say bacon.

Megan Kelly, I can't stand her either. She has said some dumb stupid things and her delivery sucks. Is she pretty? You bet. Does she taste like bacon, probably not. But I still can not stand her.

Not all bacon is created equal. OP may not have had the opportunity to taste good quality bacon.

There's a local diner here that serves bacon that's best described as greasy, limp pieces of bacon.

On the other hand, I had some really good bacon at Flapjack's in Gatlinburg TN last weekend. In contrast, the bacon at Flapjack's featured thick applewood smoked bacon slices that were cooked very well. Not a ton of gristle and not covered in grease.

Try the good stuff before you write it off.
