Oil capacity for a 1999 Olds Alero 2.4L engine?

Anybody know?  Changing oil for a friend who has no owner's manual for it.

Oil change with filter change...

I would use the dipstick. Probably needs 4-5 quarts, just a guess though. Not familiar with that engine.

4.1 quarts.

My 2001 Olds Intrigue 3.5L takes 6.5 quarts.  (Your Alero takes the standard amount of 4 quarts.)

Knowing the way GM designs their small engines, I'd guess about a quart and a half...
