I added an oyster bracelet to it a while back, but, I could never get the movement timing correct.

While I had it in, I sent along new hands ("mercedes style") and a new bezel insert (submariner style) and double dome sapphire with fully AR coated.

He had it completely torn down, cleaned, then lubricated and assembled it like the pro he is.

Now for some eye candy. (ignore the reflection at the top of the sapphire ... there are no "white" occlusions in the watch face, its an optical illusion of the crappy camera)

And this is why a Seiko is not a Rolex... Best I've seen from a Seiko 7s26 movement is 280 on the amplitude and +/- 6sec/day

Rolex 3135 movement is around 290-300 for amplitude and +/- 3sec quite frequently

He got it to 270+ which is good enough for me.

For those that are wondering, I have about $60 in parts added to my 007, not including the oyster bracelet (aftermarket).

Check Strap Code.

I got the Oyster for my 007 on Amazon. Look for something with the Seiko labeled clasp and solid end links.

Not sure who OP used but Duarte at NEWW (northeast watch works) does a killer job and is a dagaz authorized retailer.

He did this one for me - which is now owned by a member here.

Seikos have crappy amplitude. It's a Seiko thing. I usually don't worry too much about the crap amplitude as long as it's consistent across all positions.

I can make them accurate but it takes work.
