I'm not a high roller and therefore don't own a Rolex, but my dive watch has blue and red so I prefer the pepsi.

The pepsi and the batman are my two favorites, but the all black looks classier.

If that makes sense...

If going with a Black Face, and Black Bezel.

Why not just get a Sub,
Or a Sea - Dweller.

The Black & Blue
To me is what makes it the GMT.

Pepsi is the first choice, that's what the original GMT Masters were designed as.  Someone else mentioned the Root Beer GMT Master, I didn't like it as much when I first saw it, but it's really grown on me over the years and I like it because it's such a contrast from the Pepsi and the other more common variations.  Clint Eastwood wore one in Firefox, so that's pretty cool in and of itself.  I also prefer the Oyster bracelet rather than the President or Jubilee bracelets.

I like the "Batman", the "Pepsi" would be my second choice. If you want all black get a Submariner, Sea Dweller or Deep Sea Dweller.

I have a Coke bezel for the GMT II also.

So get both.

The LV is a 2003 model year (50th anniversary year) of the 50th anniversary watch that I bought used for my 50th birthday.

I've got a pepsi. I wanted it since I was 12yrs old. Finally bought it in 2007 at A.H. Riis right before production ceased. For the first few years of the ceramic bezels they couldnt get the colors right so there was no pepsi for a few years. I hate the maxi dial and the ceramic bezel.

Classic GMT is best GMT.

When I bough mine I took a cruise to St. Thomas specifically for the watch. Saved so much money that even paying for the cruise I was still $2500 less than the price of the biggest Rolex dealer in Atlanta. Then I would have had to pay sales tax to boot. All said and done I reckon I save 50%

Then the wife won the $1000 jackpot bingo the last day of he cruise.

Last time I was in T&C I stopped at a local Rolex dealer and got their pricing, then I kept it in mind when I went to the Rolex Store there.

It was about 15-20% difference plus no sales tax.

Somebody is a s s u m i n g that "GMT" = Rolex. Lots of other watch Brands have a GMT 24 hour function. The most common non-Rolex look is a matte stainless bezel.

I got that on my TIMEX 3GMT.

Lets not forget that the GMT function was first and foremost an answer to international jet flight for businessmen. Using the Dive watch as a basis was incidental. GMT is a watch complication, not an exclusive model from one maker.

I got ahold of a shitty condition 1675 and its still sitting in the safe. movement is completely toast and no AD will touch it.

Bracelet is not original/rolex and the lens is scratched to shit.

I might sell it one day, but, the crown is stripped ... Maybe $2K for the case... or just chink-it with a DG3804B GMT movement/clone and spacer and call it good.
