Nice. I'm a fan of that color scheme. My 103 Basil Special was delivered a few weeks ago. Out of town for work and very much looking forward to it.

Prompted by a post elsewhere this morning, I dug deep into the back of the watch box and pulled out this one to wear today. It's a first generation Helson Skindiver, with ETA 2824-2 movement, acrylic crystal and bezel.

Just picked up this Hamilton (from 2003!) from a fellow Arfcommer--factory black strap was in need of replacing and my father offered me a spare Hirsch Performance he had laying around so now it's wearing the brown.  I think I prefer the look of the brown and the rubber back is very nice in this Texas heat.  Going to pick up a Hamilton deployant buckle for it and then it'll be perfect!  Looking forward to many more years with this thing.

I've only had mine for a few weeks, so it's early and my phantom is subdued, but the lume is great and watch fit/finish is top notch.  It's a very nice watch.  I'd get another LumTec.

This is the Rolex Sub No Date, Best watch I own, in terms of quality, heritage, feel on the wrist, and value. If I could only have one watch, this would be it. Now, don't get me wrong, the Tudor Pelages is a fine watch in it's own right, titanium case and bracelet, in house movement that is COSC certified, and is about 90% of quality of build compared to my Rolex, better value for money initially, however it does not hold value like the Rolex. They are different watches, and I enjoy both. YMMV

So far so good.  I've had it less than a week, and had no issues.  I immediately took the bracelet off and put that canvas strap on it.  I primarily got it for a weekend/travel watch b/c of the no date.  I've read a lot of people take issues with the hands, but they don't bother me.   I didn't even size the bracelet or try it on, so I don't know how comfortable that is.  I think it wears really well on the canvas.  The size seems to fall in the sweet spot for my wrist size (6 3/4)

My 31 year old Heuer.  It's the same watch- it's had 2 faces, 3 stems, 2 sets of hands, 2 or 3 crystals and about 3 bands but it's the same watch  Hoping it'll last another 30 years then I'll get the 500 bucks worth of value out of it that I paid for it back in 86.  It's a tough SOB (which is why I bought it) and sports a sapphire crystal now.

Nice, I have you beat by 12 years though....

New sapphire crystal, but otherwise all original...cost my dad $300 new, cost me $1000 last year for service, new crystal, 1 part...but worth every penny to me.

It is an 11630MH Autavia...

Still my favorite watch, but I think I won't wear it too often anymore....too valuable...don't want to damage it!

This just in, literally, secretary just delivered it....

I know its a Germasian relatively cheapo, but figured I would give it a shot for the price....it has a Swiss Ronda Quartz movement (yeah, I went for Quartz for this one, thought maybe a Swiss Quartz may be better than the Seagull Automatic for a beater). Seems solid, well built, bezel lines up well, and has nice tight positive clicks. It is nice and big and chunky (52mm), and looks cool....

I work out in the field a lot, and can be rough on watches, so I wanted a good looking watch I could beat on and not worry about. Like I said in the post above....I am afraid to wear my Heuer too much anymore....we'll see how this does...

My next two purchases will be an Invicta Grand Diver...I have had one of those for 10 years, beat the living shit out of it (crystal scratched, and has a good chunk or two out of it, but still works great...its literally not worth having it serviced and the crystal replaced when I can get a brand new one for $135 shipped on eBay....maybe I'll use the old one to practice taking a mechanical movement apart...

I am buying myself a Laco B-Uhr too, for nicer wear with the Heuer...

I scratched that itch with a no-date Tudor Black Bay.
I think the Tudor pulls off the no-date look better than the Sub does.
