Just out of curiosity, what size tanks do your kids use?  My 10 year old is about to start the JR class and I am thinking my 80 tanks are too heavy for him.  I might be looking at getting him a smaller tank.

50 cubic foot aluminum tanks are perfect for kids. Enough air for them to stay down 30 minutes at least.

my 11 and 12 year olds that weigh around 80lbs use the 80's. They still have a tendency to suck down the air so that keeps my bottom time and their's right at the same time.

Get them 63's.  when they outgrow them, you can use them as pony tanks or redundant sources.
