We've got a Kenmore dishwasher about 4 years old. One of the rollers on the top rack broke and is now barely functional with the application of zip ties. Sears wants a minimum of $100 to just look at it and maybe fix it. The question is fix or replace?

And if I replace, can you recommend a brand/model. I'm willing to spend some serious money if it means having one around for a while. I truly believe in "you get what you pay for". One look at my gun safe will bear that out.

Is that the one where they recommend buying the kit for replacing the adjusters on both sides with a stainless steel replacement? Kit is $35.51 from Sears. Link

Yep. I even bought the parts kit shown, but damned if I can figure out how to install it. The instructions are barely english and the diagrams are useless.
