Just signed off on these today.  First 300 will be in April 30.  They're doubling as a fundraiser for us this year.  Thinking of doing a plaque for our WM including the coins and a photo of him and our first WM.

The books are a reference to the man our lodge was named after.  He was Grand Secretary for many years and started the first public library in UT, which was housed at Grand Lodge.  In our full lodge logo, the books have titles such as grammar, arithmetic, logic, science, astronomy, etc.      

Our lodge started in a mining town called Garfield.  That smokestack is at the smelter that was part of that town.  Behind the smelter is the Oquirrh mountain range.  

Next time you watch The Sandlot you can see a shot of the sun setting over the Oquirrh's silhouetting the smokestack.  

Symbol Arts has been great to work with.  They did the Grand Lodge coin we are using as a fundraiser this year.  They're also local and I like supporting local when I can.
