Thats the question.  Can you recite the whole thing right now, no help?

I confronted the brothers in open lodge with this a few weeks ago.  It was embarrassing.

Which one?  With all the York Rite bodies I'm in, I've taken the obligations for 12 Degrees and 10 Orders.  I've given all but nine,  Right now, 19 of them are just rambling around incoherently in my head.  But I can spit out the first three!

1st Degree and 2nd Degree I would be word perfect or very close.  3rd Degree I keep getting out of order.

I'll eventually keep the 3rd straight.

Since I help coach people through their degree lectures I would say yes.

Life has conspired to keep me out of Lodge for over a year now. I can say that the spirit of all of my obligations lives eternally in my heart but that I would need some refresher coaching to recite them as I did when I first demonstrated my proficiency.

Sure can, blue and white cards for the last seven years. Immediate PM, and sometime fill in coach.

It would appear that this thread has prompted me to start reading up again prior to lodge opening up in fall. Wish I had more time some days...

My jurisdiction is mouth to ear. During the stated meeting we have to recite one of the lectures, unless we have a degree scheduled sometime that month.  I know the questions and answers for the 3 degrees, and hold a lecturers card. I also have a proficiency card, I can work the first section of all 3 degrees without the monitor.

I would love to learn the stair lecture.

Cypher in our jurisdiction. You get a new pocket cypher for each degree, along with the insert for that degree to go in your standard work binder.

Do you not have to keep a blue and white card to be master in New York? Blue and white cards show that you're proficient in both floor work and catechism.

My bad, I need to wear my readers more often.  We get tested every year by our director of work for proficiency in degree work and coaching. You have to have a blue and white card to sit a chair.

Naww, I'm sure it would come back pretty quick. Like riding a bicycle.  I can always get with my old coach if needed.

We're finishing a lodge beautification project.  We reproduced the old lecture charts and had them framed.  They have gallery spotlights and look like they're backlit.  I can't wait to use them.

We have a business in town that does large format printing of blueprints and such.  They have huge copiers and printers.  We had them download The Iron Worker and King Solomon from the Library of Congress.  It's a 170mb file.  We had it printed about 5'×3 1/2'.  I'll post a pic when we get it hung.

This isn't a good photo, but we also did this for the stair lecture.  It's big, about 5×3.

Yes sir, all 3 Blue Lodge obligations. I can also initiate, pass, and raise a brother at a moments notice. MC lecture also. No dice on the funeral charge, I don't have the demeanor. I did, however, attend the service for a 33° member of my mother Lodge tonight.

Personally, I don't think the order is overly important as long as you get them all in there, I usually get the 5th and 6th furthermore swapped.

I can all three, I've helped several people over the years.  I encourage everyone if not turning in the third, at least have someone read/tell it to them slowly so it can sink-in and they can take the time to understand the responsibility they have.

Those look fantastic! We are about to have our lodge redone as well, new paint/plaster, carpeting, tile work, etc. We currently have curtains on one side covering three windows.  If we could ditch the curtains and cover the windows with something like this, I think it would look a heck of a lot better! I will bring this up at the next Temple Co board meeting.

As to the original question in the OP, unfortunately not I can get the better part of the 1st & 2nd........but stumble badly on the 3rd.

I was a 'victim' of the One Day Class.  I was raised in May of 2013, and it's been a whirlwind tour thus far.  I have been through the York Rite as well and hold the following officer positions

SD in Blue Lodge
C of H in Chapter
C of C in Council

As well as have taken on the duties of LEO in Blue Lodge......Also just found out that I will be either the Sword Bearer or Standard Bearer for Commandery.

I do have trouble retaining things to memory, but am doing my best to meet my obligations of the above mentioned offices.

Brother PSI,

Would you by chance be willing to share the files for these prints? (I already downloaded the Iron Worker and King Solomon from the Library of Congress)

I ran this by the Temple Board and we are all in agreement that this would be an excellent addition to our Lodge room

Yes.  Asst. LIW. I teach all three catechisms, have almost all the prayers, the SD Lecture and working on the MM Lecture.

I was raised June of 2013.

I've been blessed with a good memory and gifted Masonic instructors.
