I fell behind once... usually not a big deal and they'll square you up. Might want to get that taken care of; it's always good to be "in good standing" And I'm sure your lodge could use your support! -Brent |

Greetings my brethren all:
Happy to meet. I am semi active these days due to a major health issue I had in 2009 that put me in a coma and on life support for two weeks and in hospital for two months. I am still in rehab but getting better daily now that we know what issues I left the hospital with. I was stricken with Influenza A/H1N1, which left me with acute bacterial pneumonia resistant to everything they tried; I was not supposed to survive. Long story my brethren but suffice it to say I am here for a while longer and happy for it. I am a Past Master of Dufferin Daylight Lodge #570 Toronto Canada and served as District Deputy Grand Master around 2003, subsequently serving on Grand Lodge committees for some years before taking deathly ill. I am a member of several lodges, including Dufferin Daylight 570, Patterson Grey 589, etc., and am proud to be an honourary Life Member of Robertson Lodge in Aurora, Ontario. I am also a member of the Scottish Rite and York Rites (Life) and am a Life Member of the Scottish Rite Research Society (Southern Jurisdiction out of Washington DC). I am a Fellow of the College of Freemasonry. I am just now beginning to return to active masonry and am going through the chairs in The Order of the Eastern Star with my wife, Joy, and will serve as Worthy Patron with her in the East next September (2013); anyone happening to be in the Toronto area caring to attend our installation is most welcome. I am a dual citizen, born in New York City and presently living in the Toronto area with plans for retirement to the southern USA during the winter months and to a cottage or condo north of Toronto in the summer months so that we can go fishing and be with family and friends up here in Canada as well as stateside. We are a family spread about! Sorry it took so long to make the introduction; I have been quite ill and so on. |

The purpose of fighting is to win. There is no possible victory in
defense. The sword is more important than the shield, and skill is more important than either. The final weapon is the brain. All else is supplemental. |
