This season is way better than the farm era. You guys should go watch some X Factor and American Idol instead. WTF you crying babies? They have a frakkin zombie show on TV! Go write a better one and get it produced if Walking Dead sucks that bad in your eyes. I'd sure rather watch WD than the aforementioned modern gong shows.
The mid-season finale delivered and The Governor could not change his old ways. Pretty messed up about Judith but that is how the zombie apocalypse goes. |

View Quote Am I going to stop watching the show like some here have said?...No. Am I going to point out obvious stupid shit in the show because the writers obviously cannot hire a military or firearms consultant worth a shit?...Yes. The show is basically like you said the best of the worst. Doesn't make it anywhere near what it could be. Go read about the would-be episode that was supposed to show you the backstory of the dead solider in the tank from the end of the first season. The plot was supposed to be a whole episode or two about following around an army unit through the fall of Atlanta. Each soldier was going to get picked off one by one till the last one, who ends up being the zombie in the tank, takes refuge in a tank at an overrun military road block. Only the last scene shows him learning he has been bitten, then cut to the scene where rick gets in the tank with him (now zombiefied). It was supposed to be like "Battle of L.A." but with zombies. My description of it sucks, google it, the actor AMC ran off gives a better synopsis of it. He also talks about how they have ran many of the good writers / actors off with the same b.s. AMC cut the budget of this show in season 2 in favor of upping the budget of "Mad Men" which is why instead of us getting the above mentioned fall of society / epic military battles with zombies, we got a whole season of the farm. You really thing the farm was a good call to stretch to a whole season? They are doing better with it this season and it appears they have listened to some of the pissed off fans about the boring bullshit. No where near what it could be, but I'll keep watching. |

So in the comic book Michonne tortures the Governor. He loses his right arm, his fingernails, his testicles, and his left eye.
In the TV show Michonne kills Penny (the Gov's daughter, neice in the books,) The Governor attacks Michonne, and she stabs him in the hand and the eye with a glass shard, he loses the eye. So in both storylines the Gov has serious beef with Michonne. I don't want to post any spoilers of the last couple episodes. But if you saw the last episode you know where I am going with this. They should have just stuck with the comic books which are still great & have such a great following despite being black & white. |

I like it and look forward to seeing it continue in the spring. Only thing that gets me is the the M4's with no sites and the awesome shooting capabilities of everyone. Headshot galore! Hit people out to a country mile with a handgun, but hey its TV. I enjoy it for the hour it is on. Then back to reality.
As for being compared to the comic; I love the comic, but I try and keep it separated from each other. Or else I would probably be disappointed. Plus the writer said he didn't wanna go with the comic. So w/e. Would've been cool if they did tho! |

I have said on several occasions that I am enjoying this season. I am tired of the prison and the Governor. Let's move the fuck along please. I also wish they would hire a technical advisor that knew something about weapons.

Now that we know that AMC destroyed season 2 to save money. It seems that they are less worried about viewer then money. Seems like some short sighted execs.

You gentlemen are of course welcome to your opinions, I just think there is too much complaining when instead you should be tickled pink they have a successful zombie show on TV. It may not be perfect but it's the only zombie show we have.

Ya, even bad porn is better then no porn.
So....does anyone have an opinion on who was leaving the dead rats at the fence and in the prison. Still think it was the creepy girls. They pulled the trigger pretty easily. |

I was sorry to see Hershel go. I've enjoyed this season so far & thought the 2 Governor episodes were a good idea & entertaining.

And he was no way near as cool as the tv Hershel... Damn, watching the scene where Andrea stands over the Guv...she had an amazing ass! |

Patiently waiting for it to start up again, I have few complaints if any about the show right now(see little things here and there sure) but its TV and a immensely entertaining show in my book.

Just noticed Michonne uses her two neutered zombies as sherpas carrying the load-Season 3 Ep 3 at about the 2:05 mark.

Once again, I was denied the satisfaction of seeing Carl die.

Is Judith dead?
I liked the episode but I also dont get all "first world problems" wound up on stuff. |

Lizzie needs to be zombie food ASAP. that chick is messed up

Seriously, are they just tired of making this show? This season is awful. Every week I just start watching it from the DVR later, and later....and eventually I just won't care enough to try.
GOOD LAWD this season fucking sucks!!! The ONLY reason I still watch is that I hate to quit on the odd chance they might actually get back to cool before long!!!!!!!! NOT holding my breath however.
Did anyone see that mess up at the end of the talk dead? Chris was talking and the in a split second everyone disappeared lol.
Soo was drinking before the show but this was what I remembered today- The other groups have already started to blindly bump in to each other. The tracker/anti-gun pussy still has not found anyone yet & spent the episode yelling at the cute farm girl who was up for a few drinks & for him to loosen up a bit.

yeah, Daryl's soul trip made for one of the worst episodes ever. The farm was better than this season
The episode on Sunday (3/16) was easily the best of the second half of the season. At least there was a good WTF moment with the little girls. That was messed up!
Re-watching part of last weeks episode. Those little girls did a heck of a job acting. The actress that plays Carol was amazing. Good episode.

Terminus....let me make a prediction for how the story will go next week and into next season:
- It perfect!! (...almost too perfect) - They can make this place their home! (except something isn't quite right) - They ignore the shit that isn't right and decide to make this place their home. - The shit that ain't right either deeply offends, endangers, alienates, or kills someone in the group and/or "endangers the group" - Terminus is ultimately engulfed in fire and the undead because the shit that isn't right made the group uneasy and someone either fucks up or rocks the boat to a tipping point - They begin a new journey, filled with danger and stories of unbelievable determination, loyalty, and violence. - They find a new home!!! Oh, and liberally sprinkle elements of romance, family, love, hate, deceit, etc. throughout the aforementioned storyline. This show needs to end. I'm going to keep watching it. I feel like I've come this far and spent this much time, I need to see it to the end. But damn...it really lost me this season. |
It is getting a bit "soap opra-ish"
as for Terminus...Woodbury on steroids. Tasha Yar is the only person they find after passing through a couple unlocked gates. Where is everybody else in that place, she didnt do all that on her own. The place is obviously run by democrats they will be dis-armed and shackeled by the end of next weeks episode. sacrifices for the walkers in return for their votes in the next rigged election. |
Terminus screams trap. Signs up about the sanctuary miles and miles away in every direction but when they get there it's unlocked and only 1 person present. Right...
I have the last two episodes DVR'd. The show has gotten so bad I haven't even watched them yet.

I'm betting Terminus is controlled by cannibals.http://www.homeroasters.org/php/images/smiley/forumsmiley2696.gif Anyone know how much time has past since the outbreak began? View Quote I think the consensus is we're 18-24 months into it. |

In addition to resolving the mystery of who drove away with Beth, I hope we find out the story behind the funeral home snack-stash tonight.
