This is an official picture of the helmet worn by the Orlando Police Officer who got shot in the head. The shooter was said to have an AR-15 and this doesn't look anything like a 556 hit on a Kevlar helmet. IMHO, I see a 12ga slug print in the center of the chaos going on there. Would greatly appreciate a professional's opinion on this.
Been discussed in another thread. I think the general consensus was he caught a glancing blow. The hole is where a screw was that may have ripped out if night vision or other accessory caught the bullet.
