He has been stacking and racking the mouse/vole/chipmunk bodies like cordwood.

But today my wife sends me a pic of his latest:

Yes those are two massive puncture marks on the squirrel's back.

He broke the spine.

And for a Main Coon/mix he is NOT that big:

What a beast.

2 of my 8 are mass murderers without peer, a 10lb female Russian Blue and my fat 15lb tortie. Sasha (the tortie) regularly brought 5 or 6 rodents or birds home to eat every day during murdering season, until I got rid of the cat door it was common to step on a liver or head when getting up in the middle of the night. Cleo tends to leave corpses or parts thereof scattered around the yard.

My Maine Coon cross hunts the Boone & Crockett sized rats over in the neighbor's shop area.

Max loves to eat the heads off of critters, she is a little odd.

Not quite sure what to do in this situation (they are 2 jakes)

Nice cat. Mine leaves a rodent face or two every morning. He eats everything except the face...he does not like to swallow the teeth.

That's mine, lower jaws are too crunchy for them.

Either she's zombie kitty and "BRAINZ!!!" Or she needs something she's not getting in her normal diet. Taurine maybe?

Probably not a nutritional deficiency, cats are just very picky eaters. Mine that hunt always leave the liver and either the whole head or the lower jaw. They eat around the liver with surgical skill. Bird beaks are almost always left behind as well.

Nice kills! Mine plays with them like a toy for about an hour to extend the fun. Then he kills it and eats most of it.

Had two 18lb balls of fluff and muscle.  They weren't fat.
kibble was a supplement to their diet of small critters.
Birds, chipmunks, squirrels, rabbits, bullfrogs, 'possums, one even fought off a bobcat with just one nice cut on his forehead...
