Occasionally moves from the kitchen vent to the living room vent during the day.

Chows. Laziest dogs known to man kind.

Ill trade ya. Mine just did 100 yard dash hooked up to a patio chair(medium weight) taking my mom out in the process.  At 40lbs

Needs a few hours with a ferminator to help clear that up.  Or possibly a set of electric shears.

Man, I actually thought "oh, another collie owner!"  Are you sure its a chow? Not a collie? Maybe a chollie?  I'll just offer this; besides too much damn hair, it appears they share at least one other trait....

We have two furminators that we use on him. Get enough fur to build two regular dogs. Three days later it's like we never touched him.



Thinking about having a pro give him a 1.5 to 2.0 inch cut next summer. Can't shave him as he will get a sun burn.

Even if we do I know he will still camp out on the vents. Chows are like that.
