I thought it was pretty cool...

My wife, some friends and I went to the PSA Nationals last weekend. We've been dog sport people for quite a while, but this was our first ever PSA trial... We were pretty impressed! MUCH different than Schutzhund. A little closer to French Ring, but still not the same. PSA is a little more up our alley.

Were you able to see the 3's on Sunday?

The scenarios were pretty insane !!

Yes. We were there all day Sunday. The bitework scenarios were pretty insane. Only one dog actually passed!



I do have to say though, getting muzzled by the decoy with the (blank shooting) 12ga shotgun about 100 times was a bit unnerving. I realize they had blanks loaded, but he waved that thing around like crazy, muzzling the entire crowd at one point or another. If you're going to use firearms (blanks or not) in scenarios, you need to make sure the people handling them know how to actually handle them.



That being said, the gunfight (return fire) scenario was pretty cool.

Kerry and Odin placed 2nd in the 3's at the trial and missed getting the first leg by a HotDog......UGH !

Our female Dutchy had Iminheatobola last week and Odin refused to eat until Wednesday night. I blame her !.....

They will try again next Spring....
