This is Queen (Queenie) my 6 yr old, Olde English Bulldogge.  I've had her for 3 months or so.
She went from being an out of shape fatty to this in a month after walking 3-4 miles daily. She only lost 4-5 lbs, the fat turned into muscle.

Oh really? You think this is your recliner? Not anymore. (DERP)
ETA just realized that she looks like Harvey Weinstein in this pic.

Sergeant (left) and Nala (right)  Nala is a purebred Belgian Malinois, and Sarge is her son, mixed with a pure GSD.  Nala is 5, Sarge is 2.

My wife's horses (don't ask me breeds, I have no clue):

Bailey

Reba

OK.. Here's the token cat for this page. This is my rescue kitteh, Sprocket the Orange Menace. I got him at 5 months. He's been my best bud and unindicted co-conspirator for nearly a year now.

In this picture he's resting up from helping my daughter and I make some adjustments to her HBAR.

*** Dunno why the picture isn't displaying. It worked in rehearsal.

Scooby chilling on his cot.  It'd been raining - hence the mud on the towel, grass between the toes, and "the eyes".

Poor Hera.  She had her "Multiplication tables " taken out 2 days ago.  She couldn't leave the incision alone so on went the cone.

You put a dog seat in front of it, so obviously she’s supposed to go there.

Seen that as well. Put a chicken in the oven to roast, our old Labrador would lie there until we took it out. No-one ever stole a roasting chicken  with her on guard.

A twofer: Mazzy (left) and Purress (right).

They often sleep like this when we leave the bed near the space heater in the winter.

EDIT: Forgot our other cat, Buie.

We found him when the neighbor's car was "meowing". After a few minutes and some wrenching, we get the bottom pan out from under the engine and reach up inside and pull out a tiny kitten with a mangled tail.

We took him to the vet, but eventually, the tail fell off when he and the chihuahua were playing one day. That was interesting...cat running around and a trail of blood behind as the dog chased her.

We made an appointment to get him fixed, but one morning, my sleepy son let the dog out and the cat got out as well. And disappeared.

For the next 4 years, we'd occasionally see him somewhere around town, under the cars in the railyard, but could never get him to come to us.

Finally, one evening, I'm out walking the dog, and this huge black shadow comes running up to me.  It is Buie.

And one ear is clipped. Around here, that means he was caught in the county's feral spay and neuter program. They trap them, neuter them, clip one ear, and let them go.

And, once he was neutered, all of the "feralness" went right out of him.

Funny to think he was such a bad dude...surviving on his own for all those years. Because now he's an overweight, needy ball of fur.

Queenie at the peak of the neighborhood fireworks the other night. Strings of firecrackers, mortars etc didn't phase her a bit, in fact
she wanted to go outside to see what was going on.
