He was an amazing writer. Loved that book, when I read American Caesar I had to have a dictionary next to me.

he says as much in the intro, but there is a passage in it in which he describes his meeting death that sounds authentic.....as his method of ridding himself of his nightmares over the war I found it intriguing.
