Prayers for the family seems more likely murder to me, you don't point a gun at something you don't wish to kill. Sounds like a threat that lead to murder when have grabbed the gun, or at least manslaughter

Wes was a dear friend, and as good a man as they come.

Not sure I will ever fully comprehend this tragedy, maybe I just wasn't meant to.

Are you kidding me? I just talked to him not too long ago. Still have his IM's in my box.

Major bummer. Thoughts go out to his family. Wish I had some extra cash to donate.

I got the news from a fellow arfcom member yesterday who is a deputy with the sheriffs office that responded to this. I am one of the fortunate few that had the pleasure and blessing of meeting Wes and his family.

Wes invited me to go hunting with him last season and he opened his home to me for three days that I will never forget and will forever cherish.
The kindness, generosity, compassion and thoughtfulness of others and did not stop with Wes.From the moment I stepped out of my truck,He and his family treated me like one of their own. My prayers and heart go out to his lovely wife Victoria and the children, may they find comfort in knowing that Wes was such a positive influence on everyone he knew.
Goodby friend ,and godspeed Brother, I will see you on the other side one day, until then you will be missed
