Got an Eastwood electric 12 string. I have been playing it for the past week and a half and have been pretty impressed with it so far. Not a lot of options
out there for affordable solid body 12 strings.

That's a nice guitar. I thought it was a regular So Cal until I noticed no Floyd and the single coils were angled. I had to look at the specs for the Jake E. Lee model and it looks like a pretty sweet beast. Congrats on the new guitar.

It's got one of the best Strat necks I've ever played.

Updated family photo... Added the Mooer Radar in the loop and Caline Pegasus (klon centaur clone) in front of the Firehawk. Even the modelers can benefit from a little kick in the teeth .

My only electric, it’s a near copy of Allen Collins’ favorite guitar. His was a ‘55 black strat with a ‘52 Tele neck. Mine is a custom shop Clapton strat with a custom shop ‘52 neck. That is his original flight case for his guitar, the original guitar was stolen in 1989. This setup has a really cool tone through 100+ watt vintage Peavey tube amps.

Very cool. Did you piece it together or is it a Fender Custom Shop build? The flight case is a nice piece of music history.

Outstanding and quiet circuit.  I just got the OCD clone too and its great, with a much steeper gain sweep but i only use like 25% of the gain anyway.

This the young lady whose Reverb store I've been buying chinese pedals from. Not as fast as Amazon since it goes thru customs but even during initial covid shutdown, she shipped quickly and returned my messages about ship times. She's pleasant to deal with and has competitive prices.  Her pic is too small to tell if she's cute

Newly arrived on Thursday, I've been busily working on learning the fretboard first.  That's a LOT of range spread across those six strings and 24 frets.

The strings are through body.  Since it's top-routed it's sort of semi-chambered so it really resonates.  Unplugged it almost sound acoustic.

I zoomed in on the pic and see the strings going into the body now. I mistook the saddle adjustment screws as the string ball-ends.  Oops.

Those pickups don't get their due. Had the earlier version in a Washburn years ago and thought once you introduce a good amp, they sound great. Too much stuff gets what upon on the internet because of people using bad signal chain...

Current state of gear is pretty bare. I'm just getting back into playing guitar after not playing much in about 20 years. I had my MIM Strat (in the pic) and a Washburn D20B acoustic, which were both gifts from parents and grandparents respectively. I ordered a Yamaha APX600 to fart around on, and it's pretty nice for $300.

I also picked up a Yamaha THR30II as an amp. I really like it. It's also pretty good as a Bluetooth speaker for playing music from my phone through.

A couple weekends ago I did a couple upgrades on the Strat. New Graphtech nut and then I installed some Sperzel staggered locking tuners I've had laying around for years. I only boogered up one of the tuner holes when I widened it!

The Yamaha acoustic:

And a bit of the "frankenstrat" mods. On/off switches for the pickups. I tend to hate the volume knob on Strats being so close to the bridge, so I moved it to the bottom, wired the tone up as a master, and then put the phat switch in, which was going to be a switch between the pickups and a piezo pickup bridge that I never got... so that switch just cuts the signal completely.

ETA: we're going to be building my son a bass out of the same old pine my Tele is from so I'll have to see if 2Tek has a template out there in the wild. That would be something really unique. Since he's primarily into metal, couldn't hurt.

I haven't had it long enough to feel out the tuners yet.
I'm still just kind of marveling on just how big it is.
Makes my Ibanez 7 and my 4 string basses seem small.
So far I'm happy with the guitar, even if it's only been 24 hours.

Gearing up to launch a Saturn V to the moon?

ETA:  new (to me, bought used from local Sam Ash) mid-90s Carvin LB75F.  Koa neck and body.

Restrung with tapewounds since the pic, need to do a head to tail setup on it, particularly to tweak the intonation a little bit.

It's a Eurorack format modular synthesizer. There are ~6 voices in it (you can get more, or less, depending on how it's patched). It has oscillators, filters, envelope generators, complex frequency generators, LFOs, modules that mess with clock signals in various ways, audio effects, 3 sequencers, MIDI interfaces, and a bunch more. Think of modules as the building blocks of sound synthesis, and how you patch them into each other (and themselves) allows you to build a custom machine.

That's beautiful.  Interesting that the neck has the rounded strat heal and not the flat tele one.  I used to have an American made Fender Bullet (the double cut away kind) and tele necks on strats always reminded me of that guitar.  I came across this one a while ago and it inspired me to build my own, though I'm doing mine in 7 string.
