I've almost always had stereo effects in my guitar playing life. I had a Boss GT-8 that had stereo effects, my favorite delay is stereo (tera echo), and I love rotary effects and those tend to sound best stereo. I have a final design in mind of how everything will go. I'll actually be running three amps, but one of them is really only going to be used for my B9, so that's not really part of the mix.

I do not have every pedal yet, but I have most of it. I need more power (another brick) in order to get this to work the way I want it to. Here's what we're looking at:

Guitar-Tuner-Compressor - B9 - Off switch -  Wah - Univibe - Roto My Pedal - Gold Plexi - Mudhoney - Polara - Tera Echo - Stereo Volume Pedal - OR50 - Orange Slanted 4x12
                                                 |                                                                          |                               |                                      |
                                     Vox ACTV4                                                          Fuzz God ------------------ | -------------- Fender Bassman 100 - Ampeg 4x12 SVT (bass cab)

There is one extra piece of gear in this that isn't shown and is essential: a switch in between the B9 and vox that I'll be using to cut the signal between the two when I don't need the B9. At practice I'll be using a Tiny Terror in to a Crate Voodoo 4X12 cab to get the volume I need (hopefully). If not, I've got a Fender Deluxe I'll be using. For live stuff, I only need the Vox for the keys.

This may seem extreme for a two guitar band but the difference running the OR50 and Fender Bassman in unison together has done to our bands sound (usually just ran an OR50 for me and a Mesa Boogie Mark 3 for the other guitar player) a massive improvement. The only problem we've found so far is that when I play a solo, the thickness drops out dramatically... something I think we are going to accept due to just how much bigger we sound (even at the same room db level).

Because I don't have all of the pedals yet (no stereo volume, no Polara, need a cutoff switch for the B9, need a way to split the signal out of the gold plexi, etc) I don't have anything recorded with this yet. Once I get the Polara in I'll make an attempt on it.

I'll also be getting some switches for this setup as well. One for my Wah, Univibe, and Roto My Pedal, another for the Mudhoney and Fuzz God, and another for the Polara and Tera Echo. This will allow me to quickly turn off modulation, overdrive/gain, and delay/verb with just one button instead of a bunch.

I will also eventually be getting the C9, the Key9, the Mel9, and another Roto My Pedal (or two - all three settings are amazing) I'm a convert - those pedals fucking rock.

Thoughts I've had on replacement pedals for this setup:

Mudhoney > Super Phat Mod
Univibe - Lester K  (moved to right behind the volume pedal)
Tera Echo > Obscura
Tera Echo > Hall of Fame
Tera Echo > Replay Box
Polara > Blue Sky
Gold Plexi > Super Phat Mod (or Keeley's Katana Clean Boost)

Here's a pic of the bands amp setup at the moment.

The heaviest thing is the combo amp, actually. In fact, the only two pieces of heavy gear are the combo and the orange cabinet. Everything else is surprisingly light.

All of my tube amps other than my little Super Champion XD weigh a crap ton for their size. I sold a 30 watt twin twelve Palameno that tipped the scales at 75 pounds. I got tired of dragging it around and I had noise issues with it only at my house so I sold it...it sounded killer with those EL84's though .

Cool.

Get a Wylde Overdrive for solos. I like to set the gain at zero, crank the volume, and set the tone knob at a noon to one o'clockish position. It'll pump up your mids/upper mids and give you harmonics galore.

And yeah, I've dabbled with stereo setups over the years. My first being a DigiTech RP20 into a couple amps, back in the late '90s. Currently I use my Helix for stereo through my Peavey Classic Series 50/50 and into one of my stereo 4x12s or a pair of Mesa Rectifier 2x12s. And I'm planning on rewiring the 2x12s for stereo as well so I can cut down on stuff to drag around if I feel like it. And I guarantee that when I get my new Triple Rec home, I'll be running it with my Splawn or my Marshall in a stereo setup.

I didn't even need this, but you made it sound like candy, so I ordered one.

The Wylde Overdrive isn't candy, it's Viagra for your amp!

It really is. I have one someplace, unless it was stolen. At least the older version of it (the MXR? whichever existed about 10 years ago). It's just not the sound I'm looking for. I've begun using the B9 as on a certain setting in order to make my leads cut.

It's always one more pedal on the chain.
