Nice but saying it was made from cardboard is probably a misnomer.  The strength probably comes from the resin used to glue the sheets of cardboard together, far more so than average cardboard.

So in the end, I'm thinking it is really a resin guitar which is not unique. Still cool though.

I'm gonna guess that it was impregnated or sprayed with some sort of stiffiner, or resin. So I think you're right.
