Well, after many many music lessons, multiple trumpet purchases (and repairs), 5 summers of marching Drum Corps (2 w/Memphis Sound and 3 w/Phantom Regiment) and 4 years of college my son is almost to his goal of becoming a band director.  He starts Student teaching HS band tomorrow, at least it's a band he's been working with on high brass and visual instruction the last two years.

After this is over I think I'll buy that Harley I've been wanting and a Mustang for the wife.

Oh shit, he must have the patience of a saint, because when I think back on how things went when I was in school I would've pulled my hair out if I were the teacher.
