Still working on my CFI which i'm enjoying but I was curious if anyone know's of any outfits up in Alaska that might hire someone with 400 hours total time and 52 hours of multi time?

Just thought I would throw it out and see if anything might be available.

Thanks guys!

Hageland is hiring C208 SICs at $205 a day. Once you hit 500 hours your options will open a lot more.

Yes.

Call wings of Alaska (fjord flying service) and Alaska seaplanes. The latter has a lot of wheel planes.

As long as you meet VFR 135 mins and you're not afraid to work your ass off and fly in marginal conditions you can.

They start hiring now for spring.

Is that a SIC required position?

According to the Hagey pilots I've talked to the SICs are able to log the time.

Just get it in writing before you commit, right?

If they're required per the 135 opspec then it's legally loggable time.  Seaport (before the fold) & Cape Air have done that for decades.

Pull the autopilots.  Boom.  Required SIC.
