Trade a Plane

Madcap, I'm assuming you are just looking at planes for fun.  But if you are seriously looking at a plane in this class as your first plane you won't be flying for very long.  Doctors are notorious for killing themselves (and others) in preventable accidents.  It isn't because they are bad pilots, it's because they buy way too much plane for a low time pilot.  This would be considered to be a doctor killing type plane.


Aviation is dangerous enough as it is.  Try to keep as many controllable variables in your favor as you can.  The type of plane you fly is one such variable.

Also, you want shoulder restraints.

100% right, I am either going to rent a 172 until I learn enough and have enough experience or Buy a 172 to build the time and experience.

I just enjoy looking at Comanches and 182s for the time being.

too much premium being asked for the avionics?
