I had friends with me one day when the gulf reflected the patterns in the scattered clouds. I've only seen it like that once, but when looking at the water it looked like you were looking at the sky, clouds and all.

Would like to fly below 500 AGL, never did unless on approach or departing runways. Was always afraid of having an emergency at low altitude with no time to recover.
