Go to meet the DME tomorrow for the powerplant o&p exam. Finally, got enough practical experience to get signed off, and have passed the written exam.

Today, it's just study, study, study.

Just relax and go by the approved data for everything you do during the exam. My practical was fun and I enjoyed learning from the 50+ year experience DME. Good luck!

Thanks fellas, it's been a long time coming. I got my airframe in 08, but didn't have enough practical experience to get signed off for the powerplant. Finally got enough practical to get a 8610-2 signed off for the powerplant, last Tuesday.

Three hours after getting the sign off, I passed the written. Studied and sweat bullets for 2 day for the o&p. Honestly, the dme was real cool and the o&p was pretty painless. Hell, I think the written was more difficult!!!
