Thanks. I'm happiest the last two turned out. Another photog friend and I 'snuck' out to the flight line after the main show an were between two SNJ's when red nose was taking off for a ride-a-long. Right as the plane was rolling out someone walked right in front of us. I had to scramble under the wing of one of the SNJ's and barely had enough time to set up the shot. I got really lucky.

I envy you guys for having such a great shooting location! I love the grass strip and wooded background of the tree line!

The CG is so close to the rear that without the pilot it risks tipping on it's end. So the nosegear is retracted when parked.

Nothing that wasn't significantly different from what I posted. I was down at the other end of the runway for Sunday, so I couldn't get a decent amount of reach with my lens.

I know of an amazing picture of that same bird that was taken by a poster in this thread. I thought he posted it here, but I can't find it. I do have a link to it, but I won't repost it without his permission.
