CAO Brazilia.

Didn't care for it much, the hairline crack that I didn't notice when I bought it didn't help either.

When the ash reached the crack, it basically looked like it had a firecracker go off inside it.

That's pretty much the only CAO I really enjoy.  Try smoking the en Tubo one or the anaconda if you're willing to give it another go.

I liked the last third of it.
The fact that it had burned past the amazing destruction wrought by a hairline crack might have something to do with it.
Being my first CAO, it doesn't seem like a great way to start a relationship.

Other than that, it looked good, some slight oils showing, good resistance, the cap was clipped cleanly.  I'll try to find some tubos or maybe just try an MX2 instead.

RP corojo Old World Reserve (unfortunately it was from a humi that didn't receive enough attention for too long and had lost a fair amount of flavor. Still not a bad stick)

And just now fired up at Cain Maduro. (eta: great construction, perfect burn throughout and awesome flavor)

Inpsired by the Cain Maduro I decided to take a step backwards and light up a Cain Habano. I figured the weather and work may prevent me from smoking another stick for a week, so why not indulge?

Just came in from a Perdomo lot 23. Not  terribly complex and probably not something I'd buy again. But I got a 5 pack for cheap and I'm stuck at work and remembered I had one in my bag. A mediocre stick is better than no stick when you're at work!

Back from the pig hunt.

Smoked several each of:

Camacho scorpions
Oliva V's
11/18's
Havana H3's
& a VSG here & there.

Thins I learned:

1.)  .223 is not the best for pigs.   I shot a 200Lb sow in the head.  DRT but there was only one exit/entry wound. hit the bone & exploded.
On a big one, not a good idea.
2.)  .45                                             ""    ""
3.)  .460 Rowland however kicks ass.   A buddy dropped two with one shot, killed the second on the pass through.
4.)  Pigs are tough bastards.  We had one with it's head almost cut off get up & try to leave the scene.
5.)  It is possible to Handcuff a live pissed off pig

For those that have not hunted these things, you gatta do it.  Definately one of the best experiences I have had.  Damn tasty too!

(You should see my Stinky Ashtray.  Poor thing)

I'm not smoking cigars for a while.  I caught a pretty awesome cold which has my throat feeling like I swallowed an inverted badger.

OK, back from my overnight camping trip with the boy.
MX2 doesn't ring my bell either.  For such a dark wrapper it held very little complexity and after the first third was sacrificed to the campfire.
I attempted a rebound with a Cain F torp, what a hayride.  I have tried other Cains and this was a disappointment.  This was also flung with disgust into the fire.

After smacking the shit out of a raccoon with an ASP baton, an Oliva O maduro saved the evening and was finished nicely with an espresso.
Had another one after breakfast and was even happier still with the outcome.

That one kicks me in the teeth.  Try the double corona single ligero LFD sometime, it's about 1.5x the kick.

I can usually handle the double ligero fine.  I can't think of any cigars that kick my ass, but at 7:15AM in the morning, it is a different story.  I don't like the regular Ligero line.  I have tried a couple times to like it, but I love the taste of the DL more.

Had a Casa da Garcia in the back 40 of the church's parking lot while waiting on the munckin to get through with choir practice. Am going out to light another one up in a short.

Got a Padilla Corojo going now.

ETA, that one was so good out in the cool fresh air that I had to smoke another one.
