Oh yea, the RASS and RASCC are both very good. I still like the Superiores over them, but they are tasty.

They should be priced along with the other Coronas Gordas (HdM Epicure No 1, H Upmann Mag 46, Juan Lopez Seleccion 1, ect ect) and priced @ $7 per cigar vs the $10+ that the Superiores goes for. The extra LCdH band shouldn't command a $3 premium. I'm jealous that your g/f smokes with you by the way. My GF absolutely hates everything about smoking. Cigars was the compromise between not smoking at all vs me smoking cigarettes. I quit cigarettes cold turkey after 18 years but now just smoke cigars. I don't think it went the way she thought it would because I still haven't heard the end of it. How much did that cost? How much did this cost? Holy crap you spent that much on stupid cigars... blah blah blah blah. I'm sure most of us can relate to that. |

These showed up today. When I opened up the box, I was confused and a little irritated that the modern warranty seal is on the box. The box is from 2003 and the new style seal didn't start until 2010. This one even has the micro printed serial number on the seal making it even later. It also looks like there have been multiple old style seals on the box. After looking over and since it was purchased from a LCdH, once they became "vintage" newer seals must have been applied by Habanos SA. As is shown in the pictures, they've even added "Vintage Habanos" bands to the cigars. The bundle was untied and then a piece of cedar was added to the back and the ribbon just taped together, much like a 8-9-8 box.
The micro printed serial number even checked out and shows a 50ct SLB. I doubt that a remote LCdH would have the authority or ability to add seals and serial numbers to the Habanos SA database. |

Holy crap you spent that much on stupid cigars... blah blah blah blah. I'm sure most of us can relate to that. Yea, the price point on the Superiores is a little high. I would love it if they sold them in a 25 or 50 count box. That would really make my day. I had one a fellow BOTL gifted me that had a few years on it and it was one of the best cigars I have had in my life. I need to get more to age, but I keep smoking them up. I am very fortunate that the G/F loves cigars almost as much as I do. Hell, she even has her own coolerdor with 200-250 cigars in it. She loves my new wineador but won't dump that kind of money into a humidor....luckily she hasn't gotten too into the CC's yet. Although I see that changing soon as she loves trying my CC's and always wants to trade for one. Of course I always do. Who would say no to their G/F asking to smoke one of their Cubans? Nothing like going to the gun range, then coming home and having a good cigar with her while we enjoy a nice adult beverage. |

I kept 15 out (5 for each of us), split up the rest, and put them in the freezer. |
