       This cigar was kindly gifted to me by Mazeman for my graduation. Thanks again! Now, if you've never had a Padron Anniversario, you're missing out on a crucial cigar smoking experience. Rarely does one find a cigar that is flawless in construction, cigar after cigar. The flavor is smoothe, medium bodied heaven. Another interesting aspect of this cigar is the concept behind the Padron's aging of the tobacco's for each cigar. The Padron Anniversario doesn't benefit much from aging as the tobaccos that comprise it have been aged for a ten year period prior to rolling. Lastly, these cigars draw easily and produce giant clouds of smoke, yet despite this deliver a lengthy smoke despite their size and construction. Simply: if you haven't smoked one, go buy one. They are worth every penny. Final rating: 99/100. |

The 1926 may be my favorite of all.... The 1964 isn't as rich or complex. The only things I can compare the 1926 to may be the Graycliff Crand Cru after some good time on cedar, or maybe a Rabiano Vegas (ISOM). It starts awesome, and just gets better all the way to the nub.

I just realized something: I've never had a tarring issue with a Padron. Anyone want to venture a guess as to why that is?

It's not me, I smoke cigars entirely too fast thus casing excessive tarring. While smoking a pipe I have to force myself to slow down or else nothing but tar. @Elderboy: no doubt that's the reason. I love this cigar. I stumbled onto it without really knowing what it was a while back. It is a go to purchase at the local shop if I want to smoke something that day. It is kind of my ADD cigar since I sometimes need immediate gratification.

Awesome. Just bought a gift pack of those for my buddy in the Special Forces. He just got back from Afghanistan and wanted to get him something as a thank you. Sounds like I made the right choice.
