Ever since I bought this guy I think that every time I use it.

1/2" cold rolled.  36" worth of straight line cutting.  Maybe 30 seconds.  About as fast as a dull wood blade in plywood, but with far less effort.

Can't believe I used to use a torch.

Cool. WTF is it? Looks like a circular saw for cutting metal.

For me, it's the cordless Rigid oscillating tool. That thing is very versatile with different tools and attachments. I've used it for everything from cutting kydex to taking down high spots in concrete floors.

Pretty Amazing Milwaukee Metal Cutting saw you have there.  I was just looking at one of those online yesterday.

For me the tool is the Irwin Bolt Remover Set.  I've come across I don't know how many rounded bolts and this set is great at getting them out.

Drilling hinge holes and other items in 6x6's you'd be hard pressed to find something better than this. This makes my job a lot easier when needed.

Yep, circular saw for metal.  It will eat through 3/4" plate.

The blade extends down a few inches like a circular saw to so you can cut through 2.5" pipe and tube in one pass.

That's a good one.  The horizontal style that you clamp the piece into and walk away and it shuts off when finished is magical.

No, not for caulking your sink.  When you have to throw thick construction sealant by the case, over hundreds of feet, a pneumatic caulk gun will replace a crew of Popeye look-alikes.  Even the thickest stuff, you can throw down as fast as you can walk and change tubes - and do it surprisingly evenly.

It's the same blade that came with it.  I have chipped a few teeth off but it still goes pretty strong as of now.  I think replacements are about $40.

The chipped teeth were my fault, not supporting the cut.

Rage 2 14" chop saw

One of the finest tools I own.  Cuts square tubing and angle iron like cutting 2x2's on a miter saw.

*not* an abrasive saw.  Uses carbide blades, cuts fast and clean.

I wish that was marketed more for younger guys getting into metalworking on their own.  Maybe they are now, suppose with the net and what not.  Can't imagine how many times I have pulled out the shitty chop in misery over the years.
